Almost everyone who played Silent Hill thought it was a true masterpiece. Even so, many people finished it not fully understanding what had happened. That's where Silent Hill 2 comes in. It promises to give you some insight on some of the unexplained mysteries. It even reveals some of the history of Silent Hill. Of course, this will only lead to more questions, but that's what Silent Hill 3 is for.


"Prepare to get it even worse." Impossible, right? Apparently not, according to Konami CGI designer Takayoshi Sato. He also claims that the in-game graphics look even better. So it won't be another one of those boring sequels that the company makes up just to get even more money out of the game.
Things are a lot more dark in the sequel, as well the mood seems fairly cooler. An early trailer for the game features gruesome and disturbing scenes. A lot worse than Silent Hill 1.
The game takes place in Silent Hill once more, but it seems that Harry Mason is out of the picture. Instead, James Sanderland is the protagonist this time. James recieves a letter from his wife telling him to meet her there-his dead wife that is. Soon you find yourself facing 10 new types of enemies and this time, you can go everywhere you could in the first game and beyond. Even thoses closed-off areas that you couldn't get past last time are open. There's also an entirely new cast of supporting characters.
